Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical nutrition, patient assessment, and care planning, with a focus on providing personalized nutritional guidance across diverse patient populations. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans.
Provide expert guidance on nutrition therapy for various conditions, including weight management, acute care, geriatrics, and long-term care.
Manage specialized nutritional interventions such as tube feeding and diagnostic evaluations.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate nutrition into overall patient care strategies.
Offer health coaching to support lifestyle modifications and promote healthy eating habits.
Supervise dietary staff and oversee dietary department operations to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Utilize EMR systems for documentation, tracking patient progress, and maintaining accurate records.
Educate patients and families about nutrition principles, dietary modifications, and disease management.
Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly to optimize health benefits.
Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or equivalent credentialing.
Proven experience in hospital settings, acute care, geriatrics, or long-term care environments.
Strong knowledge of physiology, nutrition science, dietetics practices, and care plan development.
Experience with dietary management of tube feeding and weight loss programs.
Familiarity with EMR systems and diagnostic evaluation procedures.
Supervisory experience in dietary or healthcare departments is preferred.
Excellent patient assessment skills and ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to nutrition services and dietary standards.
