Head of Agency OperationsAdvanced Marketers – Orange County, CA (In Office)Advanced Marketers is a fast-growing marketing agency helping contractors and service businesses scale through digital marketing.We are hiring a Head of Agency Operations to lead the operational engine of the company and oversee execution across our teams.This role will coordinate operations across a 40-person agency spanning growth, creative, CRO, paid media, and fulfillment teams.The ideal candidate has experience running operations inside a marketing agency or service-based business and is comfortable leading department heads, enforcing systems, and maintaining accountability across teams.This is an in-office leadership role in Orange County, CA.What You’ll Be Responsible For• Leading operations across six department leads (Growth, Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRO, Creative, and Fulfillment)• Running weekly leadership meetings and ensuring departments are aligned• Monitoring account health and identifying risks before they escalate• Ensuring projects move smoothly from sales → onboarding → fulfillment• Coordinating cross-department communication and eliminating operational bottlenecks• Enforcing SOPs and workflows built within ClickUp and internal systems• Managing operational KPIs including onboarding timelines, deliverable completion, and client retention• Handling client escalations and ensuring issues are resolved quickly• Working with leadership to improve operational efficiency and scalability• Helping implement automation and AI tools to improve operational efficiencyWhat We’re Looking For• Experience managing operations in a marketing agency or service-based business• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage department heads• Highly organized and systems-driven mindset• Ability to hold teams accountable and enforce operational standards• Strong communication skills across multiple departments• Experience using project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday• Understanding of digital marketing workflows (Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRO, etc.) sufficient to coordinate teams effectivelyPreferred Experience• 5–8+ years in operations, project management, or agency leadership• Experience managing multi-department teams• Experience building or improving operational systems inside a growing agencyWhy Join Advanced Marketers• Fast-growing marketing agency with strong demand• Opportunity to lead operations and shape the systems of a scaling company• Work directly with leadership and influence the company’s growth trajectory• In-office collaborative team environment in Orange CountyLocation: Orange County, CA – In OfficeCompensation: Competitive salary based on experience (estimated range $130K – $160K)How to ApplyApply through LinkedIn or Indeed, or send your resume directly to our team.
