Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate menus that meet nutritional guidelines and accommodate dietary restrictions.
Prepare, cook, and serve meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Supervise kitchen staff, including training new team members and ensuring smooth shift management.
Oversee inventory control, order supplies, and manage food storage to minimize waste and optimize resources.
Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper handling procedures.
Collaborate with staff to coordinate meal times, snack schedules, and special dietary needs.
Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory levels, and safety inspections.
Requirements
Proven experience in food production within a childcare, banquet, or fine dining setting.
Demonstrated supervising experience with strong leadership skills in a kitchen environment.
Knowledge of dietary requirements specific to children and experience with dietary department protocols.
Expertise in menu planning, food preparation, catering, and restaurant management practices.
Familiarity with inventory management systems, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
