Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\n\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level software engineer who will be tasked to update an existing application to be easier to install and configure, more resilient, and usable by a wider range of technical specialists, analysts, and systems administrator. They are expected to develop software tools that facilitate remote management and operation of deployed IT equipment. These will include web-interface dashboards that provide status of devices and means for authenticated users to launch pre-defined actions (scripts etc.), as well as server-based tools to automate responses to specific events.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nFifteen (15) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required\nFour (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.\nRequired Skills:\nApplications with SDR functions\nLow-level I/O interfacing and DMA\nQT framework for GUI implementation Python, Java, Jenkins, GitLab, JIRA\nWork in a RHEL environment with GitLab.\nWork with some existing material implemented with Ansible and BASH.\nWork in an enclave environment which includes FreeIPA, non-enclave systems use Centrify.\nMust be able to work independently and produce well documented/structured code using widely-adopted languages (C++, Python, BASH, YAML, JavaScript).\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
