No formal education is required, but strong attention to detail and experience using measuring tools are important for success in this role.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform 100% visual and dimensional inspection of abrasive stones.\nVerify that abrasive stones meet required quality and dimensional standards.\nConfirm the correct diamond size and abrasive compound are used in manufacturing.\nUse micrometers, calipers, and basic measuring tools to inspect parts.\nEtch part numbers onto abrasive stones according to work instructions.\nPackage and label finished parts for inventory, sales, or shipment.\nFollow written work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.\nAccurately identify and report quality concerns or nonconforming parts.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.\nRequired Qualifications\nNo formal education required.\nExperience using basic shop tools and shop supplies.\nProficiency with micrometers and calipers.\nAbility to follow written work instructions accurately.\nStrong attention to detail and quality.\nComfortable performing repetitive inspection tasks with consistency.\nDependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials throughout the shift.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious manufacturing, quality inspection, tooling, or production experience.\nExperience inspecting small parts, abrasive materials, tooling components, or precision-manufactured products.\nFamiliarity with visual inspection, dimensional inspection, labeling, packaging, or inventory preparation.\nBackground in honing tools, abrasive stones, diamond abrasives, or precision manufacturing is a plus, but not required.\nWork Environment\nThis position is performed in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, shop materials, and temperature variations. Employees are required to follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
