Data and Reporting Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Reporting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports that support strategic decision-making across the organization. The analyst will collaborate with operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective data solutions, utilizing a variety of tools and methodologies including Excel, Power BI, custom reporting tools. Responsibilities Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using excel and Power BI Design and optimize database schemas to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval aligned with best practices in database design. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements through business analysis techniques and translate them into technical specifications. Conduct data validation, quality assurance checks, and troubleshooting to maintain the integrity of reporting outputs. Support the integration of disparate data sources for comprehensive analysis and reporting purposes. Document processes using Visio or similar tools for clarity and future reference. Stay current with emerging analytics trends and tools to continually improve reporting capabilities. Requirements Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence development, or related roles. Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Looker for creating dynamic visualizations; familiarity with Looker is a plus. Strong SQL skills with experience in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases; knowledge of database design principles is essential. Solid understanding of SDLC processes and Agile project management methodologies. Experience working with diverse data sources such as Linked Data platforms or cloud-based systems. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights. Knowledge of Business Analysis practices to effectively gather requirements from stakeholders. Familiarity with Visio for process documentation; experience with analytics platforms like Business Intelligence or Data Visualization tools is preferred. Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and present findings effectively.
