Interns will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and work with software, hardware, modeling, and real-time systems.ResponsibilitiesApply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to software development for target applications.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and evaluate hardware/software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system designs.Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing.Support the development of embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment.Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related technical documentation.Use modeling tools and engineering equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.Participate in peer reviews and help identify, track, and resolve software defects.Work with multiple programming languages, development environments, operating systems, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems.QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree at an accredited university.Degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Engineering, Information Security, Mathematics, Digital Arts & Sciences, or a related field.Required SkillsMany L3Harris positions may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
