{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2b784ba1a48882c5eb77cf37","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2b784ba1a48882c5eb77cf37","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2b784ba1a48882c5eb77cf37","title":"Construction Laborer","description":"A&R Development Group is hiring a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to assist our site development crews.Previous construction experience is not required.\nWe are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, follows directions, arrives on time, and wants an opportunity to learn and advance within the construction industry.\nThis is a hands-on outdoor position that supports equipment operators, pipe crews, foremen, and other field employees.\nJob Responsibilities\nResponsibilities may include:\nShoveling dirt, rock, and construction materials\nRaking and preparing graded areas\nAssisting equipment operators\nSpotting trucks and heavy equipment\nAssisting pipe and utility crews\nSetting up and cleaning job sites\nMoving tools, materials, and supplies\nInstalling and maintaining erosion-control materials\nHelping establish and maintain a safe work area\nPerforming general construction-related labor\nCompleting other tasks assigned by the foreman or superintendent\nQualifications\nConstruction experience is helpful but not required\nMust have a strong work ethic\nMust be dependable and arrive on time\nMust be willing to learn and follow instructions\nMust be able to work well as part of a crew\nMust be able to perform physical outdoor work\nMust be able to lift and carry construction materials\nMust be able to work in Florida heat and changing weather conditions\nReliable transportation to and from work is required\nValid driver’s license is preferred\nIdeal Candidate\nThe ideal candidate does not need to know everything on the first day.
