Heavy involvement in the implementation of materials required for issuance and sold case processing.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, mathematics, or a related field.\nSKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:\nKnowledge of available employer Stop Loss products, including contract terms and RFP data interpretation\nStrong mathematical background\nAbility to handle large volume of work efficiently and correctly with limited errors\nStrong team attitude\nWorks well independently and in a team environment\nInterpersonal skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong skills in Microsoft Office, especially using Excel and Word, and other on-line computer systems\nComfortable making presentations to small groups\nOrganization, planning and prioritization skills\nStrong analytical, problem solving and judgment skills\nStrong customer service orientation\nCommitment to company values\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nReview, prepare and submit documents to Underwrite renewal business and new business\nAccountable for creation and preparation of proposals\nMaintain quote qualifications and competitive rates\nSold case preparation and issuance of applications\nInput employer stop loss characteristics such as benefits, census, large claim information and aggregate claim assessment into our underwriting system (Connexure ESL Office).\nParticipate in Captive renewal calls and biweekly Underwriting meetings\nPrepare and distribute renewal letter notifications\nParticipate in meetings\nGenerate system reports\nPRIORITIES: Accuracy, Timeliness, Positive Team Attitude\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
