Grading Crew Team Member for Jade Mountain Builders

Job Overview We are seeking dedicated Crew Members to join our grading team. At Jade Mountain Builders our grading crew cuts house sites, builds retaining walls, runs utilities, and complete the fine grading of our jobsites. Responsibilities - Assist with digging, bulldozing, and loader operations as directed -Operate heavy equipment, if skilled to do so. We have 3 excavators, 2 skid steers, and a Bulldozer. Requirements - Experience or willingness to learn about construction site operations - Ability to operate backhoes, loaders, dump trucks is a plus - Physical stamina to work in a labor-intensive environment Qualifications - Experience in operating heavy equipment such as excavators and dozers is a plus - Proficiency in construction site operations and backhoe operation is a plus - Mechanical knowledge for maintenance and repair of equipment is a plus - Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery and dump truck operation is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance Schedule: Home daily Monday to Friday Overtime Experience: Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: CDL A (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Asheville, NC 28801 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Asheville, NC 28801: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
