From there, you'll meet our mortgage operations leads before a cross-functional final round.\r\nWealthfront is seeking a mortgage loan processor to join our team as we build and scale our mortgage lending operations. As a key player on the team you will leverage your expertise to work with existing Wealthfront clients providing excellent service and guiding them through the process with the support of our innovative technology and tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a cutting-edge team in a rapidly growing environment.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nReviews loan file and gathers any items needed for final loan approval.\r\nLiaison between all operational and sales departments in the transaction.\r\nOrders supporting documentation.\r\nEvaluates loan applications for reasonableness and, if needed, escalates files for further evaluation.\r\nPrioritizes daily workload to ensure a delightful client experience.\r\nManages a full pipeline of assigned loans, driving files from disclosures signed through closing.\r\nExcellent client communication skills.\r\nCommunicates with third party vendors throughout the loan process to finalize the application.\r\nEnsures adherence to investor and regulatory guidelines.\r\nProactively maintain loan pipeline, tasks and objectives.\r\nAdopts company values in work behaviors, decision making, contributions and interpersonal interactions.\r\nContributes to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous development, collaboration, creativity and fun.\r\nExpertise\r\nCustomer-focused, business-centric, and team-oriented mindset; relentlessly passionate about finding and completing valuable work.\r\nStrong working knowledge of Federal and state regulations including TRID and HMDA.\r\nDeep understanding of mortgage loan products and underwriting guidelines.\r\nSelf-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.\r\nExcellent organizational skills, able to set and meet deadlines in a high paced environment.\r\nDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence positive outcomes at all levels of an organization.\r\nIntellectually curious and interested in applying technology to enhance business processes.\r\nPrior experience in retail mortgage loan processing.\r\nExcellent communication skills focusing on both internal and external communications.\r\nOpenness to adapting to industry changes.\r\nRequirements\r\n2+ years mortgage processing experience in a retail environment.\r\nMortgage Loan Originator License.\r\nKnowledge of Conventional Conforming and Jumbo guidelines.\r\nExperience in the non-delegated space.\r\nUnderstanding of state and federal lending regulations.\r\nExtensive knowledge and understanding of customer service and intrapersonal best practices.\r\nEstimated annual salary range: $56,000 - $70,000 plus equity and a discretionary bonus.\r\nBenefits include medical, vision, dental, 401(K) plan, generous time off, parental leave, wellness reimbursements, professional development, employee investing discount, and more.\r\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
