This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow a career in mechanical assembly and manufacturing.\nMechanical Helpers assist Mechanical Assemblers by gathering materials, preparing components, using hand and power tools, and helping complete daily production tasks while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nMechanical Helpers are responsible for:\nAssisting Mechanical Assemblers with the installation and assembly of industrial equipment and components\nGathering parts, hardware, tools, and materials needed to complete daily production tasks\nLearning to read and follow blueprints, engineered drawings, and assembly instructions\nUsing hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring devices safely and accurately\nAssisting with mechanical and sub-assembly work\nOperating overhead cranes and forklifts under supervision (when authorized)\nReporting damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors\nMaintaining clean and organized work areas while following 5S principles\nFollowing OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies\nParticipating in safety meetings and training as required\nPerforming other production and shop duties as assigned\nWhat We're Looking For\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn\nInterest in building a long-term career in manufacturing or mechanical assembly\nAbility to safely use basic hand and power tools\nAbility to read measuring, torque, and leveling devices\nAbility to work well in a team environment and follow directions\nGood verbal and written English communication skills\nAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious manufacturing, production, warehouse, or assembly experience\nBasic blueprint or schematic reading experience\nForklift and/or overhead crane certification\nFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or 5S practices\nWork Environment\nWork is performed in a manufacturing and fabrication facility and may include:\nStanding for up to 10 hours per shift\nWorking up to 6 days per week based on production needs\nFrequent lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.\nBending, reaching, walking, and repetitive movement throughout the shift\nWorking in a non-climate-controlled environment\nExposure to industrial noise and manufacturing equipment\nSteel-toe boots required\nSafety glasses required\nHearing protection recommended\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive pay based on experience\nWeekly pay\nDay & Night Shift opportunities\nLong-term employment opportunities\nCareer growth and advancement into Mechanical Assembler positions\nMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options\n401(k) retirement plan\nPaid time off for eligible employees\nSafe, team-oriented work environment\nPay Range\n$15.00 – $20.00 per hour (DOE)\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nApache Workforce is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
