(plus $2.00 Shift Differential)Custom Culinary, a subsidiary of Griffith Foods, is hiring a Stager to be responsible for pulling and preparing ingredients according to batch sheets and returning Raw Materials back to appropriate locations when finishedAs a Stager your responsibilities will include:Read and interpret production schedules, formulas, Bill of Ladings and other documents for products being producedAbility to follow procedures exactly and document lot numbers, weights and other information on batch sheets without errorOpen containers with, but not limited to, manual and pneumatic can openers and knivesOrganize Raw Materials in proper batch sequence utilizing the designated lot numbersComplete all training defined and made available for the current assigned role.Responsible for attending all training made available assuring full understanding of the training and have the ability to perform trained activities.Responsible for the coordination and review of specific functional area BRC criteria. Ensure BRC protocols are implemented and audited as required. Provide employee training as needed.Ensure Food products meet safety, quality, authentic and legal requirements.Other duties as assignedQualified Candidates Will Have:HS Diploma/GED PreferredIt is essential to have excellent communication skills, verbal and writtenAbility to read and follow written work instructionsMust have basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide Strong knowledge of Packaging operations including machine operating background.Knowledge of Inventory (DAX) system.Must be able to lift minimum 50lb. containers.Must be able to complete forklift certification programCandidates must currentlypossessunrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand and walk to communicate and listen effectively. This will require both office and plant environments. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee will occasionally need to operate and drive a forklift or electronic pallet jack to transport materials or goods.Environmental Concerns While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid and cold conditions; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
