{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2b68dc6a805a57b3f0463b69","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2b68dc6a805a57b3f0463b69","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2b68dc6a805a57b3f0463b69","title":"Electro Maintenance Mechanic","description":"Experience: Senior Level\nSalary: $30 - $40 per hour\n\nJob Details\n-\n\nJob Duties:\n\nPerforms mechanical and preventative maintenance work on all production and packaging equipment as per preventative maintenance manuals.\nMaintains records of repairs, parts inventory, modifications of equipment, programs or settings.\nAssists with setup and/or movement of equipment during change-overs or expansion.\nMaintains tools and maintenance shop in a safe, clean and organized manner.\nProvides emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment.\nPerforms mechanical jobs including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of machines.\nReads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.\nDiagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests and adjusts.\nPerforms a variety of general plumbing maintenance, electrical and carpentry functions as needed to support maintenance department within parameters of skills and training.\nUses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.\nComply with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas.\nPerforms all other duties as assigned or needed.\n\nRequirements:\n\nHigh school diploma/GED, completion of a mechanical trade strongly preferred.\nExperience as a production or industrial mechanic technician, preferably maintaining high-speed packaging and processing equipment within the food industry.\nElectrical troubleshooting knowledge on multiple voltages and can read electrical prints.\nHighly motivated and able to work independently and as a team player.\nAbility to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing.\nAbility to multi-task and establish priorities.\nAbility to maintain organization of maintenance schedules and files in a changing environment.\nExhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership.\nKnowledge of local, provincial and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation.\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills.\nPossess a valid driver's license.\nExcellent time management and project management skills.\nHigh level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning.\nHighly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.\nAble to work well under pressure.\nStrong attention to detail.\nKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), preferably in a food manufacturing facility.\nHighly punctual.\n\nA bit about us:\n-\n\nWe are a leading manufacturer of fresh and frozen premium food products and a we supply a wide range of client across the nation.\n\nWhy join us?\n-\n\nWe recognize that our people are the lifeblood of our organization.
