You’ll work closely with users to understand their needs and deliver intuitive, high-performance tools that make their jobs easier.\n\nThis is a hands-on development role within a small, collaborative team. You’ll contribute to new application development as well as enhancements to existing systems.\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nYou must be a self-starter, take genuine pride in your work, and be empathetic to your users by building software that YOU would enjoy using.\n\nWe use the SolidJS library for our front-end UI. Experience using SolidJS is ideal, but you must have a solid grasp and professional experience with React/Redux.\n\nCore Responsibilities:\n\nDesign and build dynamic, responsive UI screens using TypeScript and modern front-end techniques\n\nDevelop and maintain Node.js/Express APIs to support internal applications\n\nWork with Microsoft SQL Server to read and write application data\n\nCollaborate with users to gather requirements and translate them into practical solutions\n\nTroubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications\n\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-organized code\n\nFront-End / TypeScript\n\nStrong experience with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SASS/SCSS\n\nExperience using socket.io for bi-directional communication between client and server\n\nExperience building dynamic UI components and working with modern layout systems (Flex/Grid)\n\nExperience with React (Redux experience is a plus; SolidJS experience is a bonus); Back-End / Node.js\n\nExperience building APIs using Node.js and Express\n\nUnderstanding of async programming (async/await, promises)\n\nExperience working with third-party APIs\n\nDatabase\n\nExperience writing Microsoft SQL Server queries (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, JOINs)\n\nStrong understanding of relational database design\n\nRequired Experience\n\nMinimum 5-8 years of professional experience building full-stack web applications\n\nExperience working on production systems used by real users\n\nSoft Skills\n\nAbility to work directly with users to understand and refine requirements\n\nClear communication with both technical and non-technical team members\n\nSelf-motivated and able to work effectively in a small team environment\n\nGood judgment in troubleshooting and problem-solving\n\nBonus Skills (Nice to Have)\n\nExperience with SolidJS\n\nUI/UX design awareness\n\nExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)\n\nExperience working in a manufacturing or operations environment\n\nDistinguishing Characteristics: The above statement are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
