Our client, a growing venture firm, is hiring a Chief of Staff to partner closely with firm leadership and operate as a central force across strategy, operations, and execution. This is a high-impact, dynamic role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants to help build an investment firm from the ground up.You will work across a wide range of initiatives from investment process design and firm strategy to brand building, capital markets work, and special projects.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic OperationsDesign and improve internal processes across the investment lifecycleOrganize and support weekly investment meetings and firm workflowsBuild systems and tools (CRM, Notion, internal tracking) to enhance executionSupport firm-level strategy and planning initiativesMarketing & BrandManage and coordinate external partners (PR, events, fractional marketing)Help develop and execute the firm's brand and communications strategyPlan and run events, founder dinners, and ecosystem engagement initiativesBuild and maintain relationships across a targeted network of founders, investors, and operatorsCapital Markets & SecondariesSupport secondary transaction opportunitiesCoordinate with bankers, brokers, and legal teams on deal executionAssist with investor communications and capital markets initiativesGain exposure to fundraising strategy and LP engagementFirm Building & Special ProjectsLead or support key internal initiatives (e.g., office buildout, vendor selection, budgeting)Help recruit and onboard new team membersBuild and manage an external advisor networkSpecial projects as neededQualifications5–10 years of professional experienceBackground in management consulting, strategy/operations, or chief of staff rolesExceptional organizational skills with a structured, systems-oriented approach to complex problemsStructured, high EQ, thinker with strong problem-solving abilityExceptional written and verbal communication skillsWilling to roll up your sleeves; no task is too big or too smallClear communication style; able to engage directly with demanding stakeholdersComfortable with operating in ambiguity and shifting prioritiesInterest in AI, frontier technologies, or venture capital
