QA Tester - Batch/Data Migration 6 Month Contract 100% Remote Our client is seeking a QA Tester to support data migration and batch processing validation efforts as part of a legacy system modernization initiative. This role will focus on ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and quality during the migration of mainframe data to modern cloud and PostgreSQL environments.Key ResponsibilitiesValidate data cleansing, transformation, and deduplication resultsPerform data reconciliation between DB2 and PostgreSQL environmentsTest batch processing jobs replacing legacy COBOL/JCL workflowsValidate downstream data integrations feeding Salesforce and reporting systemsExecute data quality, migration, and regression testing to ensure accuracy and completenessDocument test results, defects, and reconciliation findingsRequired SkillsStrong SQL and data validation expertiseExperience with batch processing, ETL, and data migration testingKnowledge of database reconciliation and data quality validation techniquesExperience supporting legacy-to-cloud modernization initiativesStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsThe anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($55-60/hr). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
