SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the safe and efficient Millwright work on various customer sites.\nRESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:\nOperations\nInsert shims, adjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts, using hand tools and measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.\nAlign machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.\nAssemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools.\nLevel bedplate and establish centerline, using straightedge, levels, and transit.\nDismantle machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.\nAttach moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly unit, using hand tools and power tools.\nConduct preventative maintenance and repair, and lubricate machines and equipment.\nAdjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.\nAdjust the tension of nuts or bolts.\nAlign equipment or machinery.\nBolt objects into place.\nCommunicate with coworkers to coordinate installations or repairs.\nLay out work according to specifications.\nLevel machines or equipment.\nLubricate equipment to allow proper functioning.\nOperate welding equipment.\nPosition equipment using hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment.\nRepair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.\nReplace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.\nSafety\nAttend scheduled safety meetings.\nEnforce all applicable safety policies.\nMaintain a safe and clean work environment\nPromote safety among co-workers.\nParticipate in Behavior Based Safety program.\nATTRIBUTES\nProblem Solving – uses logic and methods to help solve problems.\nCommunication Skills – clear written and verbal instructions and notes are essential.\nWorking Knowledge – must have some understanding of machinist trade tools and measuring devices and operational processes for machines.\nMust be capable of working any shift, overtime, be on-call, or work seven days a week, if needed.\nMust be able to complete multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency to meet the customer needs.\nMust be able to work well within a team environment and take instructions from management and co-workers.\nMust be a self-starter with the ability to work independently when necessary\nMust possess the basic reading and math skills\nMust have good written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong record of attendance reliability\nSafety Oriented with the ability to work well within a team environment.\nMust be capable of performing the essential job duties required of this job\nPhysical Demands include, but are not limited to:\nMust be physically able to perform work assigned.\nMust be physically capable of accessing all plant locations.\nThe employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Particles.\nThe employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing and sitting.\nAbility to
