We're looking for a digital wizard to architect scalable, cloud-first platforms while ensuring our systems don't pull a "blue screen of death" during a big launch. You'll be the one holding the keys to the kingdom, negotiating vendor contracts like a shark and keeping our data more secure than a squirrel's favorite nut stash.If you can translate a "strategic roadmap" into plain English without making our eyes glaze over, you're already halfway there. We need a leader who can kill off useless tech dependencies so we don't accidentally end up using floppy disks in 2026. If you're ready to lead our tech empire with high-level genius and a healthy dose of sarcasm, plug yourself in and apply!RESPONSIBILITIESLEADERSHIPLead by example by consistently living into goodr's values of Fun and Authenticity Be a culture carrier by leaning into our three fundamentals of communication, professionalism, and visionHold monthly one-on-ones with each team member to build upon their role duties and hold everyone accountableAsk clear questions, increase everyone's knowledge, and empower the team so that we can get the best out of every person in your departmentGive consistent, continuous feedback and challenge your flock to perpetually grow so they become the best version of themselvesOwn your team's budget and ensure its accuracyUse imagination and wisdom to set team goals and communicate them clearlyChallenge the status quo ALWAYS; the phrase "this is how we've always done it" is banned here at goodr, so don't be afraid to push out of your comfort zone and encourage your team to do the sameROLE SPECIFICLead delivery of cross-functional technology initiatives with clear business outcomes and measurable impactLead the implementation, maintenance, and administration of the organization's technology systems, platforms, and equipmentDefine and execute the technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives and growth plansDesign and evolve scalable, cloud-first platforms and infrastructure to support rapid growth and operational reliabilityManage enterprise systems, platforms, and network infrastructure to ensure performance, availability, and resiliencyOwn technology financials, including annual budgeting, cost management, and vendor efficiencyEstablish and maintain standards for data security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and technology risk managementDrive reduction of technical debt, improve system resilience, and decrease dependency on external vendors to strengthen platform stability and operational agilityPartner with business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver technology solutionsMonitor emerging technologies and industry trends to inform decisions, improve systems, processes, speed, effectiveness, and maintain competitive advantageThis role is in the Money Department and will report directly to the Chief Financial OfficerPerform other related duties as assignedABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE May or may not have a degree…we don't care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)8+ years of progressive experience in technology, with demonstrated leadership of teams, oversight of large-scale organizational strategy, and driving cross-functional initiatives at a senior level (e.g., VP or equivalent)Experience managing ERP, CRM, and enterprise platforms, including NetSuite, Salesforce, and ShopifySkilled in systems integration and iPaaS platforms (e.g., Boomi) and cloud-based infrastructureStrong track record in data governance, security, compliance, and fraud preventionProven ability to translate business strategy into scalable technology solutionsExperience managing technology budgets, vendor relationships, and ROI-driven investmentsVisionary, excited to grow and scale the systems functionDemonstrated success delivering large-scale, cross-functional technology initiativesExcellent executive communication and stakeholder collaboration skillsLives for systems!Loves the work more than a paycheckIs happy to give away credit to their team Loves getting and giving feedback Is into personal growthThinks Fun is doing great work (not just partying) Is proactive and an independent problem solver!
