Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI)Start Date: September 1, 2026Responsibilities include:●Conduct functional vision and learning media evaluations●Provide direct and/or consultative service to students with visual impairments as outlined in IEP's or 504 plans●Deliver specialized instruction in areas such as braille, assistive technology, visual efficiency, and compensatory skills●Adapt and prepare instructional materials in accessible formats (braille, large print, tactile graphics, digital text)●Train and support caregivers, staff, and other stakeholders in strategies●Devise, implement, monitor, and report on progress for IEP goals and objectives●Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers and related service providers
