BP Energy Center Operations Associate Part Time, Evening Reports to: Director of Administration Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY Hours: 3:30 pm-8:30 pm Monday through Thursday The BP Energy Center Operations Associate's role is to facilitate the client and attendee experience through exceptional customer service and attention to detail, and to proactively perform the facility's daily operational duties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Guest Support Manage online, phone, and in-person reservation requests, following up with detailed communications for clients and staff Initiate, edit, and track invoices for client reservations Guide guests through policy and procedure information, ensuring a positive experience Welcome all guests and provide any assistance needed Walk clients through the meeting space check-in and check-out processes, clearly communicating expectations and answering any questions Provide technical assistance for facility technology that may interface with client devices Operational Support Manage complimentary coffee and tea services/stations Pre and post screen meeting spaces, common areas, and restrooms for cleanliness and state of readiness, adjust if needed Perform exterior perimeter walks, removing trash and debris, ensuring a welcoming environment Manage supply/office inventory Interior plant maintenance Communicate regularly with the BPEC Manager about facility needs Closing procedures, including facility prep and alarm management QUALIFICATIONS A combination of at least 2 years of relevant experience in customer service or in engaging hospitality roles Direct experience with any reservation system M365 experience (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) Experience with connecting devices to projectors and digital displays Event management experience preferred CORE COMPETENCIES Customer service and client management Excellent communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Facility maintenance and technical systems Good Judgement and professionalism Attention to process and detail Health, safety, and compliance WORK ENVIRONMENT & ACCESSIBILITY We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace.
