Works in conjunction with group leader, setup person, and parts coordinator in the setup and running of jobs on machines as directed by the supervisor.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n\nCommunicates and listens effectively in a professional and courteous manner.\nAbility to solve minor problems and recognize bigger problems that require supervisor assistance.\nGood attention to detail and organizational skills.\nWorks as a member of a team.\nFunctions under time pressure.\nGets along with co-workers.\nAccepts change in a positive manner.\nContributes to a positive, healthy and safe work environment. Work in compliance with MPI, OSHA and SDS safety policies.\nProficiency with and working knowledge of MPI MIS (Aegis) software is required.\nComponent Identification training is required.\n\nQualifications:\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions\n\nOperator can perform simple assembly tasks under moderate supervision using assembly instructions with high accuracy and moderate speed, including:\n\nLoad/print/unload of screen printer and paste inspection machines.\nLoad/operate/unload pick and place machine.\nDemonstrate a proficient knowledge of feeders.\nLoad/unload reflow oven.\n0-3 years of industry experience or equivalent is required\nPerform daily maintenance on the machines.\nSetup/tear down the screen printer, load stencil, monitor paste.\nSetup pick and place feeders, load programs into the machine, perform minor editing functions.\nDemonstrate a working knowledge of Fuji-tracks.\nAnalyze and interpret management data from Fuji-tracks.\nDemonstrate working knowledge of screen printer, paste inspection, pick and place, and reflow oven.\nRecall proper oven profile.\nManage inventory for projects which run in SMT.\n1-5 years of industry experience or equivalent.\nIPC 610 Certification preferred.\nHand placement of difficult parts.\nCapable of training and supervising others.\nManage setup/team down of complex boards\nProvide expert training to other on complex boards\n\nEducation and/or Experience:\n\nLanguage Skills:\n\nAbility to read and speak English fluently.\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.\nAbility to write simple correspondence.\n\nMathematical Skills:\n\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\n\nReasoning Ability:\n\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.\nAbility to deal with problems involving simple variables in standardized (normal) situations.\n\nPhysical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
