Piscataway, NJ\nExpert Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for a Materials Handlers with one of our premier clients in the financial services industry.\nThis is 1 month + contract with the possibility of extension.\nThis role is a 100% onsite, working Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.\nAs a Materials Handler, you will perform warehousing duties, inventory management, packaging, loading and unloading of USPS materials, and general cleaning and maintenance of the facility.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nStock and maintain client consumables and USPS inventory at workstation.\nAssist Insert Operators in keeping mail processing through the Inserter as efficiently & accurately as possible while meeting SLA deadlines.\nMaintain a high level of accuracy in inventory counts.\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.\nPerform housekeeping activities such as cleaning and maintenance of the Operations facility and/or the insertion area\nProvide pre-staged consumables to the Insert Operators as needed.\nAccurately traying mail with the correct tray tags.\nBuild pallets neatly and organized to meet USPS requirements.\nUtilize methods such as shrink wrapping or strapping to ensure that pallets are secure\nClean and maintain an organized workstation.\nAssist in relocating materials and reconfigure consumable locations\nInspect consumables for damage or defects and report any discrepancies to Supervisors\nPrepare completed mail for QOS & USPS inspection as required.\nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED\nAt least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse or material handling environment\nExperience picking, moving, and organizing materials\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/bend throughout the shift\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory counts\nReliable with excellent attendance\nAbility to work well in a team environment\nPay: $17.00 -
