Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Presque Isle, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,218 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - ER Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7P-7A Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (preferred), NRP (preferred) Must-Have: Charge experience, EKGs, IV starts, familiarity with TNKase administration, nebulizer treatments, initiating BiPAP, suture removal, assisting with casting, vent management Description: Urgent start needed. This position involves working in a busy emergency department. You will care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Patient types include trauma, stroke, STEMI, and behavioral health. Patient ratios are RN 1:4, variable based on patient acuity. Support on the unit includes a mid-level provider and critical care transport team. Traditional nursing staffing includes several shifts throughout the day. Charting system used is FirstNet. Floating is not required. Weekend rotation is every other week. Holiday shifts may be required as needed. Approval for time off must be sought from the manager. Scrub color is any professional color; hospital scrubs are available but not required.
