MANAGER NETWORK OPERATIONS\r\nSUMMARY\r\nUnder the direction of the Sr. Manager Network Operations, the Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for the installation and connectivity of computer desktops, laptops, and other user equipment, including installing, configuring, and supporting all desktop software applications and computer peripherals such as keyboards, mice, monitors, and printers. This position is located in Milpitas, California.\r\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\r\nInstalls, maintains, connects, and performs both routine and preventative maintenance of computer desktops, laptops, and other user equipment\r\nInstalls, configures, updates, and supports all desktop applications and computer peripherals such as keyboards, mice, monitors, and printers\r\nTroubleshoots and problem solves various routine software and hardware issues\r\nIdentifies and resolves network problems impacting end user performance; escalates complex issues to other IT support personnel when needed\r\nCoordinates projects of limited scope and schedule as needed\r\nOvertime may be required contingent on business needs\r\nAdheres to all safety policies and procedures as required\r\nPerforms other duties of a similar nature or level*\r\nJob Qualifications\r\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\r\nHigh School Diploma or GED\r\nTwo years of hands-on experience working in a desktop support position\r\nExperience with computer hardware and software installation\r\nProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications\r\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\r\nKnowledge of computer hardware and software application installation, including Windows desktop operating system, TCP/IP communications, and DHCP leases\r\nKnowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentations\r\nFamiliarity with Fortinet, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Duo, Aruba, Azure, & M/O365 a plus.\r\nAble to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of contractors, consultants, employees, and management\r\nAble to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management\r\nAble to comply with all safety policies and procedures\r\nDemonstrated organizational and time management skills\r\nDemonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting skills\r\nFlexible and able to prioritize\r\nThe hourly rate for this full-time position is between $26.00-$33.00 + bonus target + benefits. Within the range the individual pay may differ depending on additional factors including job responsibilities, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience. The hourly pay range shown is subject to change and may be modified periodically.\r\nWORKING CONDITIONS\r\nThe Desktop Support Analyst works primarily in an office environment from Wednesday thru Sunday. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed. Infrequently, may also work in a class 100 ESD sensitive wafer manufacturing facility; wears a cleanroom (bunny) suit, including hood, gloves, safety glasses, booties, and mask. May be exposed to hazardous conditions, chemicals, fumes, and/or gases during the course of workday; may be exposed to loud noise. Stands, walks, bends, twists, and crawls.
