Lead the development and implementation of procedures and programs, ensuring they minimize risks and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.\n\nThis is an in-person position at our Martinez, Ca office when not on a job site.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nManage environmental construction projects, including technical and craft personnel.\nDevelop and maintain baseline budgets and schedules for assigned projects.\nCost estimating and review of project plans and specifications to support proposals; project schedules using MS Project and Cost Tracking applications.\nAuthor technical approaches, work planning and completion reports.\nForecast project work on existing contracts.\nReport to supervisor on project status.\nReview project operations to meet project schedules, scopes and budgets.\nSupervise employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee development of staff.\nPrepare budgets and negotiate contracts.\n\nWhat You Bring\n\nBachelor's degree (B.S.) from a 4-year college or university or equivalent experience.\nMinimum 8 years of industry-related experience.\nProven leadership in bidding and executing environmental construction projects.\nExperience managing projects for federal clients (USACE/Department of Defense or other federal agencies)\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with previous involvement in preparing project proposals, submittals, RFIs and close-out documentation.\nAbility to effectively interact with clients, regulatory agencies, field operations, technical staff and subcontractors.\nKnowledge of MS Word Office Suite Products.\nCurrent 40hr HAZWOPER or 8hr Refresher certification and provide certificate of completion prior to the first day of employment.\nAbility to travel up to 25%-50% of the time to project sites which may be in remote locations.\n\nNice to Have\n\nDegree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.\nProfessional Certification (PE, PMP, and/or CCM).\nUSACE/Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal contracts experience.\n\nEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.\n\nERRG is committed to providing a safe work environment and to fostering the health and well-being of its employees.
