This position will pick and process materials for production.\nEssential Duties include but are not limited to:\nPractices safe work habits and complies with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulations.\nProcess and pick materials from the warehouse and deliver to production personnel using ladders, pushcarts, forklift or manually operated pallet jack\nProperly count, identify, and organize material to ensure jobs can be processed in a timely manner\nMove completed subassemblies or jobs to other workstations, stock, transfer or directly to shipping\nOrganize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly boxing and storing goods in their designated location.\nRecord inventory movement and transactions utilizing a computer and/or handheld device.\nCommunicate effectively with Purchasing, Production Schedulers, Shop Supervisors, etc. verbally and through email.\nEnsure housekeeping duties are performed. Keep the warehouse stock locations and work areas organized and clean.\nFull-time/in-person attendance is an essential function of this job.\nAll other duties as assigned. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.\nTechnical Skills:\nAptitude for learning company ERP, Epicor.\nBasic computer skills, data entry, and Microsoft Office.\nBasic math and counting skills.\nForklift certification or ability to become certified.\nBehavioral Skills:\nDetail oriented, flexible, and exhibit effective prioritization and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.\nProficient verbal and written communication skills.\nWorks effectively both independently and as a team.\nWorks in a time effective manner and follows systematic approaches and conducts appropriate follow-up.\nService and detail oriented.\nCan take directions and provide back-up support where needed.\nEducation & Experience\nExperience in a manufacturing facility.\n1 to 3 years of experience in a related position\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nWork Environment:\nThis role primarily operates in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled. This role may require exposure to inclement weather for short periods of time. The noise level is described as moderate and may be exposed to vibrations. This role requires constant lifting up to 25 lbs., frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., and occasional lifts up to 75 lbs. This role requires standing for long periods of time, kneeling, pushing, reaching, stooping/twisting, climbing, crouching, driving, grasping/gripping, pulling, reaching overhead, and squatting. Near visual acuity, and the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech is required.
