The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, support project delivery, and develop innovative automation solutions that improve safety, productivity, quality, and operational performance.\n\nYour Impact\n\nLead automation and controls system design projects for industrial and manufacturing facilities.\nDevelop PLC programs, HMI programs, SCADA solutions, and industrial network architectures for process and packaging systems.\nDevelop control narratives, sequence of operations documents, functional specifications, and automation testing procedures.\nDesign and review electrical control panels, I/O systems, motor control systems, and general instrumentation layouts.\nSupport industrial communications infrastructure and interface with managed industrial network systems.\nCoordinate and participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), startup, and commissioning activities.\nCollaborate with mechanical, process, electrical, and operations teams to deliver integrated manufacturing solutions.\nTravel to client facilities to support commissioning, troubleshooting, training, and startup activities.\nProvide technical leadership during equipment installations and production line upgrades.\nTroubleshoot controls, instrumentation, and automation systems during commissioning and operational phases.\nPrepare and review AutoCAD drawings, Record documentation, and technical reports.\nInterface directly with clients, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery.\nMentor junior engineers, programmers, and designers.\nSupport proposal development, business development efforts, and client relationship management activities.\n\nWho You Are\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.\n7-10 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or related manufacturing environments.\nDemonstrated experience designing, programming, implementing, and commissioning industrial control systems.\nExperience supporting food & beverage, manufacturing, packaging, processing, logistics, or industrial production facilities.\nKnowledge of electrical control panels, I/O systems, motor control equipment, and VFDs.\nAbility to lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate field activities.\nStrong communication, client-facing, and technical leadership skills.\n\nAbility to travel to client facilities for commissioning and project support.\n\n#LI-LB1\nAbout WSP\n\nWSP USA is the U.S. operating company of WSP, one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
