The PM leads communication between the owner, design team, subcontractors, vendors, and internal CMC departments while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to CMC quality standards.\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\nProject Planning & Coordination\n\nManage all phases of construction projects from turnover through final completion.\nReview project drawings, specifications, contracts, estimates, and schedules.\nParticipate in project handoff meetings with Preconstruction and Operations teams.\nCoordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.\nLead Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and maintain meeting documentation.\nEnsure all project documentation is current, accurate, and properly distributed.\n\nFinancial Management\n\nDevelop and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts.\nMonitor project financial performance\n\nPrepare and manage owner pay applications.\nReview and approve subcontractor pay applications.\nManage project change orders and cost impacts.\nConduct regular financial reviews with leadership.\n\nSchedule Management\n\nDevelop, monitor, and maintain project schedules.\nCoordinate procurement activities and long-lead material tracking.\nIdentify schedule risks and implement recovery plans when necessary.\nCoordinate subcontractor sequencing and project logistics to maintain production goals.\nEnsure milestone dates and project completion deadlines are achieved.\n\nProcurement & Contract Administration\n\nSupport subcontractor buyout and scope review processes.\nReview subcontract agreements and ensure scope alignment.\nIssue and track contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.\n\nSafety & Quality\n\nPromote and support CMC’s safety culture and Goal Zero initiatives.\nEnsure project teams comply with OSHA requirements and company safety policies.\nCoordinate with the Safety Department regarding audits, incidents, and corrective actions.\nParticipate in quality control inspections and ensure work complies with project documents and CMC standards.\n\nLeadership & Team Development\n\nLead and mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.\nCollaborate closely with Superintendents to align field and office operations.\nFoster teamwork, accountability, and professional development among project staff.\nMaintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments.\n\nProject Closeout\n\nManage punch list completion and final project turnover.\nEnsure all closeout documentation is completed\n\nCoordinate final inspections, owner turnover, and project closeout activities.\nEnsure final billing and subcontractor closeout are completed in a timely manner.\n\nQualifications\n\nBS Construction Management or equivalent construction management experience.\n\nMinimum of 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience preferred.\nWorking knowledge of the respective industry\nPersonal commitment to Safety philosophy that all accidents are preventable.\nStrong communication skills to achieve project alignment with internal and external organizations including engineering, subcontractors and client representatives.\nExperience and understanding of CII best practices\nWorking knowledge of planning and scheduling processes\nMinimum 10 years of Construction Management experience","company":"Cmc Development Construction","rawCompany":"cmc development construction","city":"Dallas","state":"TX","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-08-07T00:09:07.114Z","occupations":[{"code":"11-9021.00","title":"Construction Managers","slug":"construction-managers"},{"code":"13-1082.00","title":"Project Management Specialists","slug":"project-management-specialists"},{"code":"47-1011.00","title":"First-Line Supervisors of Construction Trades and Extraction Workers","slug":"first-line-supervisors-of-construction-trades-and-extraction-workers"}],"industries":[{"code":"236220","title":"Commercial and Institutional Building Construction","slug":"commercial-and-institutional-building-construction"},{"code":"238990","title":"All Other Specialty Trade Contractors","slug":"all-other-specialty-trade-contractors"},{"code":"237990","title":"Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction","slug":"other-heavy-and-civil-engineering-construction"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Project Manager","description":"At CMC Development & Construction, working together on Developing Tomorrow is our motto.
