Information Security Operations Intern, Summer 2026Tyler Technologies is looking for an Information Security Operations Intern to join our team for the Summer 2026 Internship Program. The Information Security Operations Intern is an entry level, learning position and may be assigned tasks related to audit compliance, steady state security operations, identifying organization improvement opportunities, and recommending appropriate security solutions to other team members and management. This individual will assist other team members with ongoing projects to help further team initiatives.As a part of Tyler's corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.LocationOrono, Maine | Yarmouth, Maine | Plano, TexasTravel0-5%ResponsibilitiesSupport ongoing Information Security projects and team initiativesAssist with analysis and improvement of security monitoring and alerting capabilitiesContribute to evaluation and documentation of security tooling and data sourcesResearch security technologies, trends, and best practices to support team objectivesHelp develop and maintain security documentation, processes, and reference materialsParticipate in analysis of security findings to support tuning and quality improvementsEngage in security awareness, training, and team activities as appropriateQualificationsExposure to information security, risk assessment or information technologyBasic knowledge of server hardware and configurationsBasic knowledge of networkingBasic knowledge of operating systemsBasic knowledge of directory servicesBasic knowledge of virtual machinesExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively with a team of professionals on technical and business issuesBasic understanding of information security standards, concepts, controls, testing techniques and technical risk assessmentExperience or training in technical writing preferredTyler is subject to regulations, guidelines, and/or client requirements relating to the qualifications of Tyler personnel performing certain client work.
