To teach and guide and oversee less experienced engineers. To interface with the customer throughout a program.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nPrepares or reviews design sketches, layouts, schematics, 3D models and drawings as part of a design team.\n\nSelects or reviews raw materials and components; develops or identifies specifications for product.\n\nDetermines or reviews input boundary conditions (loads, temperatures, fixities, pressures, etc.).\n\nDevelops or reviews hand calculations and or finite element models to determine temperatures, stresses and deflections, etc.\n\nPost-processes or reviews finite element model results and performs iterative design changes.\n\nOrganizes and leads meetings to determine customer and team objectives.\n\nReports or reviews results through written and verbal communication.\n\nInterface with customers, perform to schedule and budget requirements\n\nLeads co-workers to teach and motivate and oversee less experienced engineers\n\nRequirements (Education & Experience)\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace\n\n0-5 years experience in an engineering services environment or related field\n\nInterpersonal skills – able to work well with and motivate/teach others\n\nMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nAbility to work with all levels of the organization.\n\nMust be able to multi-task as required.\n\nLocation\nJupiter, FL, on‑site.\n\nWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
