Job Title: Color Lab TechnicianLocation: Clark / Linden, NJ Type: Contract to HireCompensation: $20.00-$23 /hour (depending upon experience)Work Model: OnsiteHours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMOverview This position supports a global cosmetic manufacturer specializing in large?scale production of nail polish and related beauty products. The organization emphasizes color innovation, strict regulatory compliance, and collaboration with leading beauty brands worldwide.ResponsibilitiesApply, evaluate, and refine laboratory and chemical processes while maintaining accurate and detailed documentationCollaborate closely with cross?functional teams including R&D, Quality Control, and ProductionOperate analytical instruments to perform viscosity testing, water testing, and other routine lab analysesConduct drawdowns, visual color evaluations, and spectrophotometer measurementsCompare samples against color standards to ensure batch?to?batch consistency and qualityLearn and follow established laboratory procedures, including additional testing methods as requiredMaintain a clean, organized lab environment in compliance with safety and GMP guidelinesRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline (flexible on degree field)1–3 years of Quality Control or laboratory experience preferred (+ Recent grad with chemistry lab experience)Experience working with color, pigments, coatings, or cosmetic formulations strongly desiredStrong attention to detail with demonstrated color acuityWillingness to learn and adapt; suitable for recent graduates with lab exposureAbout System One System One and its subsidiaries—Joulé and Mountain Ltd.—are leaders in providing outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
