PSM focuses on strengthening the production enterprise through improvements across six strategic areas:\nContinuous Improvement\nAsset Management\nDigital Transformation\nSupply Chain\nEmployee Development and Retention\nContinuous Operations\nThese efforts are intended to mature ALDWP’s production systems and infrastructure in support of long-term operational readiness.LANL is seeking contractor support to provide program management and integration assistance for activities within the PSM portfolio.\nThe contractor will provide program management and coordination support for the Production System Maturation initiative. The role will support planning, execution, and integration of activities that span multiple organizations within ALDWP.\nWork performed under this task may include:\nSupporting development and maintenance of integrated program plans associated\nwith PSM initiatives\nCoordinating activities across the six PSM focus areas and associated projects\nSupporting maturation of ALDWP’s production enterprise through integration of operational initiatives, digital systems, and production readiness improvements aligned with long-term pit and detonator production objectives\nAssisting with alignment of program activities to ALDWP production readiness goals and NNSA program expectations\nDeveloping and maintaining program management artifacts such as schedules, milestone tracking, and risk registers\nFacilitating coordination meetings and supporting program governance activities\nMonitoring progress against defined milestones and identifying risks or execution issues\nAssisting with preparation of reports, briefings, and status updates for Laboratory leadership and program stakeholders\nSupporting integration of related projects into a cohesive program structure\nThe contractor will work with program leadership, technical staO, and partner organizations to support coordinated execution of the PSM initiative\nTypical deliverables associated with this support may include:\nIntegrated execution plans for PSM initiatives\nProgram milestone tracking and schedule updates\nRisk and issue tracking documentation\nMonthly or periodic program status summaries\nPresentation materials for program reviews and leadership briefings\nDocumentation of coordination meetings and action items\nUpdates supporting strategic planning or roadmap development for PSM efforts\nWork performed under this task will require coordination with personnel across several ALDWP and Laboratory organizations, which may include:\nProduction organizations within ALDWP\nManufacturing engineering groups\nSupply chain and materials management\nDigital transformation and IT organizations\nContinuous improvement or operational excellence teams\nFacilities and infrastructure organizations\nLaboratory program oOices and leadership\nDOE/NNSA representatives as appropriate\n\nEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, science, manufacturing, operations management, or a related technical discipline\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nApproximately 5–10 years of experience supporting or managing complex technical or operational programs\nExperience preparing and maintaining program management documentation such as schedules, milestone plans, and status reports\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate activities across multiple organizations or functional groups\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to support preparation of executive-level briefings.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.\nAbility to work in a diverse work environment.\nSatisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening in accordance with Federal requirements (details below),\nAbility to fulfill and promote L&A core values.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nActive Q is highly preferred.\nManufacturing or production operations environments\nWork in regulated or high-hazard industries such as nuclear, aerospace, defense, semiconductor manufacturing, or energy production\nEnterprise production system transformation or operational modernization initiatives\nCoordination of complex programs involving multiple organizations or technical disciplines\nFamiliarity with enterprise manufacturing or program management tools such as:\nOracle Primavera P6\nSolumina iBASE-t MES\nWindchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)\nOracle ERP or MRP systems\nProgram controls, risk management practices, or integrated scheduling\nExperience working within the DOE/NNSA complex or with federal program sponsors\n\nLOCATION\nLos Alamos National Lab – Los Alamos, NM\nOnsite Position.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS\nSuccessful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation.
