multi-discipline engineering teams\n\nInterface directly with clients to understand operational needs and translate them into technical solutions\n\nDesign systems including:\n\nOutside Plant (OSP) infrastructure\n\nInter- and intra-building backbone distribution\n\nStructured cabling systems\n\nCommunication room layouts\n\nRack elevations\n\nWired & wireless device plans\n\nCable schedules\n\nDevelop coordinated 3D BIM models using AutoCAD, SmartPlant, and Revit MEP\n\nPrepare construction specifications and 2D deliverables\n\nEnsure compliance with:\n\nNFPA 70 (NEC)\n\nTIA standards\n\nIndustry best practices\n\nClient-specific requirements\n\nSupport startup, commissioning, and construction coordination\n\nEstimate and schedule telecom design efforts for multi-phase projects\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nTwo-year technical degree or four-year degree\n\n5+ years of telecommunications design experience\n\nStrong structured cabling design background\n\nKnowledge and application of:\n\nTIA standards\n\nBICSI design practices\n\nNFPA 70 (NEC)\n\nExperience leading telecom design teams\n\nExperience editing construction specifications\n\nExperience with startup and commissioning\n\nExperience estimating and scheduling design efforts\n\nProficiency with:\n\nBluebeam\n\nNavisworks\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license\n\nBICSI RCDD credential\n\nProject management experience\n\nWorking knowledge of Revit\n\n4+ years of telecom design experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments\n\nExperience with:\n\nEmergency Responder Radio Coverage Systems (ERRCS)\n\nDistributed Antenna Systems
