We help build and preserve spaces that support people’s lives, including affordable housing, occupied rehabilitation, senior living, and other community-centered projects. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, proactive, and eager to grow in construction project management or field leadership.\n\nWhat you’ll do\nIn this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to help keep projects moving from preconstruction through closeout. You will support project documentation, communication, coordination, and follow-through across both office and field activities.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\nProcessing and tracking RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, logs, and closeout documentation\n\nReviewing plans and specifications to support scope clarity and identify potential constructability issues\n\nSupporting subcontractor coordination and project communication\n\nVisiting jobsites regularly to understand field conditions and help surface issues early\n\nAssisting with as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, and final turnover materials\n\nHelping the team stay organized, aligned, and accountable throughout the project lifecycle\n\nWhat we’re looking for\n\n1+ year of experience in construction project engineering, project coordination, or construction management\n\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications\n\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\n\nClear written and verbal communication skills\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project or similar tools\n\nBay Area local with the ability to visit jobsites regularly\n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\nExperience in affordable housing, multifamily, rehabilitation, or community-oriented construction\n\nExperience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software\n\nField experience\n\nDegree or vocational training in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related area\n\nWork environment\nThis is an in-person role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Regular jobsite visits are required.
