{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"2ab2d55fcca47daffb6de7cd","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2ab2d55fcca47daffb6de7cd","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/2ab2d55fcca47daffb6de7cd","title":"Painter","description":"JOB PURPOSE\nResponsible for spraying surfaces of manufactured skid steer attachments with enamel or epoxy using an\nindustrial paint sprayer.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nPrepares attachments to be painted by grinding off any additional slag, weld splatter or surface rust\nWipes down attachments and all welds with xylene prior to painting\nSelects paints for desired color and prepares spraying equipment by cleaning or adjusting spray guns\nUses proper painting techniques and maintains mil thickness\nReads and understands technical documents, such as paint mixing procedures and sprayer equipment\nmaintenance instructions\nPrioritizes production runs to maintain production schedules\nInspects all finished attachments for imperfections and overall quality\nPlaces finished attachments on pallets; places pallets in designated assembly area\nCleans paint booth and spraying equipment daily following cleaning task checklist and replaces filters as needed\nMaintains proper respiratory care using filter system and face mask equipment\nPerforms other tasks or duties as assigned\n\nALL EMPLOYEES\nMaintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with\nco-workers and management\nContinues to grow and learn new skills and knowledge; continues to identify personal areas of\nimprovement in a positive manner to achieve personal goals\nComplies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent qualification\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and\nprocedure manuals\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common\nfractions, and decimals\nAbility to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems\nExcellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently\nExcellent attention to detail\nAbility to learn from mistakes and desire to improve appearance of finished product\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The\nemployee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, such as high temperatures. The noise level in\nthe work environment is usually moderate. The employee will be required to wear a respirator about 50% or more during their shift.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle,\nfeel, or hold objects. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop,\nkneel, crouch, climb, crawl or balance. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is\nrarely required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
