This role will drive system interface strategy and lead technical delivery across key client engagements using platforms like HealthEdge, Salesforce, and Edifecs.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect and implement scalable integration solutions for core payer workflows and data exchange.\nLead the design and optimization of APIs, ETL pipelines, and EDI file exchanges.\nPartner with solution architects, engineering leads, and delivery teams to ensure project alignment.\nMentor junior developers and support code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.\nMonitor and resolve complex integration issues in production environments.\nEnsure all solutions meet healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA and HITRUST.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n8–10 years of professional experience in software development and systems integration.\nExpertise in at least two of the following platforms: HealthEdge, Salesforce, Edifecs.\nStrong proficiency in Java, and advanced experience in either C# or C++.\nDeep understanding of payer data formats, interoperability standards (EDI, HL7, FHIR), and payer platform workflows.\nProven experience in delivering large-scale integration solutions in healthcare environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with cloud-native tools (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Azure Integration Services).\nProficiency in DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Terraform).\nAgile development experience, with technical team leadership or project ownership.\nFirstsource maintains a Drug-Free Workplace.
