Job DescriptionFreelance Event Producer (Luxury / Interiors / Design Focus)Location: New York City (onsite required)Commitment: Part-time (approx. 10 hours/week)Rate: $65–$75/hourKey Dates: Must be fully available the week of September 14–18, 2026OverviewWe are seeking a Freelance Event Producer to support the development and execution of high-touch, design-forward events for a luxury home and lifestyle brand. This role is ideal for someone with a refined aesthetic sensibility and a deep understanding of the fashion, interiors, and design space.The ideal candidate has a strong eye for interiors, textiles, lighting, and luxury brand presentation, and can seamlessly balance creative vision with operational execution. You will play a critical role in shaping immersive brand experiences that resonate with a fashion and home design audience.This role will also collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including internal stakeholders and global teams (including China-based partners), to ensure alignment on creative direction and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Concepting & StrategyConceptualize engaging, innovative event experiences tailored to a fashion and home design audience Partner with internal stakeholders and external collaborators to evolve strategic event direction and creative concepts Translate brand identity into immersive, design-forward environments Vendor & Production Management Source and manage NYC-based vendors and production partners, including:Fabricators, stylists, and showrooms AV, lighting, floral, and catering teams Photographers and venue partners Leverage strong local network across art, fashion, and home décor spaces Event Planning & Execution Build and manage:Detailed production timelines Run of show On-site staffing plans Collaborate with decor and installation teams to execute immersive physical environments Oversee coordination across:Décor, lighting, AV, signage Catering and guest experience Check-in, photography, and guest flow Onsite LeadershipLead day-of execution, ensuring seamless delivery of all event elements Troubleshoot in real-time and manage vendor coordination onsite Maintain high standards of polish and brand presentation under pressure Client & Stakeholder CommunicationLead client meetings and present event concepts, updates, and recaps Ensure clear communication across internal teams and external partners Support alignment with global initiatives and cross-market considerations QualificationsBased in New York City with strong local vendor relationships Proven experience producing luxury, high-touch brand events Background in fashion, interiors, home décor, design, or lifestyle sectors Strong creative eye paired with exceptional production discipline Experience managing budgets and delivering within defined parameters Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively Experience working across international teams or markets (China exposure a plus) Mandarin language skills preferred but not required Ideal ProfileHighly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven Elevated aesthetic sensibility with a passion for design and storytelling Calm under pressure with strong on-site leadership presence Deep understanding of brand experience and guest journey
