This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to drive infrastructure forward, power innovation and leave your mark on our energy future.\n\nIn the role of Power Engineer, we'll count on you to:\nCoordinate the work of the power design team through the schematic design development and contract document phase of a project\nEstablish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance\nCoordinate workload to complete the deliverable on schedule.\nConduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplines\nReview project documents for areas of conflict with other disciplines.\nWrite and edit project specifications\nCoordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, requests for information (RFIs), change orders (COs), and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents\nProvide construction contract administration as needed\nConduct QA/QC on the work of other Engineers, Project Coordinators or Designers, or BIM Technicians as needed\nPerform other duties as needed\nPreferred Qualifications\nMasters degree in Engineering\n6+ years’ experience doing detailed electrical design work required.\nPrevious experience with an engineering consulting firm and hydropower generation is highly preferred.\nExperience with any software for data analysis is preferred, particularly related to electrical engineering.\nExperience with software packages including SKM Power tools for Windows, EasyPower, Matlab, and Visual Basic.\n\n#LI-JM8\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering\nProfessional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license\nPrevious experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.\nComputer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Power Market Sector design software.
