Social Worker in Ypsilanti, MI

This position spans the upcoming academic year, starting August 2026 through June 4, 2027, and requires a full-time, onsite presence. Key Qualifications:Master's degree in Social Work is required.Active SSW-310 Authorization for School Social Work or MDE School Social Worker Credential.Previous experience working with K-12 student populations within a school setting preferred.Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and external agencies.Strong organizational, communication, and advocacy skills.Must be able to work onsite full time. Responsibilities:Provide direct support and interventions for students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop IEPs and 504 plans.Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions.Offer crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and referrals as necessary.Engage families and caregivers to foster students' success.Collaborate on school-wide initiatives promoting positive school climate and mental wellness.
