The position is responsible for executing functional and compliance-based testing, troubleshooting issues, documenting results, and supporting the full software testing life cycle. The ideal candidate has solid Linux experience and the ability to work independently in a technical environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPerform application-level and systems testing in support of mission requirements.\nExecute functional testing of COTS and vendor-provided user client applications.\nVerify applications properly interface and operate with ITS components and meet established compliance requirements.\nDevelop, execute, and document test cases, procedures, and results throughout the test life cycle.\nIdentify, troubleshoot, document, and track defects and issues through resolution.\nPerform testing and troubleshooting in Linux environments using command-line tools as needed.\nSupport compliance testing against defined technical, security, and operational requirements.\nWork with engineering and operations teams to investigate issues and validate corrective actions.\nContribute to improving testing processes and test automation capabilities.\nSolid understanding of and hands-on experience with Linux environments.\nExperience performing application-level testing and troubleshooting.\n,\nRequired Skills\n\nExperience with Linux\nMust have 5 years of experience with a bachelor's degree\nTen years of Test Engineer experience without a degree\nActive TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required\n,\nAdditional Details\n\nAt CyberCore, we believe in taking care of our employees both inside and outside the workplace.
