This role builds and supports internal applications that integrate across systems, enabling efficient and scalable service delivery. The DevOps Engineer works closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver software solutions that improve operational performance.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: (include but are not limited to)\nDevelop and maintain internal APIs and automation tools\nUnderstanding of cloud, hybrid, and serverless architectures\nMaintain codebase version control including CI/CD pipelines\nWrite and maintain code in Python, PHP, and other relevant languages and frameworks such as Django and Laravel\nSupport automated provisioning workflows across voice, video, and data platforms\nCollaborate with product, operations, and engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions\nImplement secure coding standards and conduct code reviews to prevent vulnerabilities\nIntegrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., static code analysis, dependency scanning)\nAutomate security patching and configuration management for infrastructure and applications\nCollaborate with Security team to ensure DevSecOps principles are embedded in workflows\nTroubleshoot and resolve software-related issues in production environments\nDocument and transfer knowledge to support teams for operational continuity\nStay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems\nOther duties as assigned\nKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:\nAbility to analyze complex information, draw conclusions, and communicate findings\nStrong organizational and analytical skills\nAttention to quality and detail\nStrong communication skills\nBEHAVIOR:\nUpholds and acts in accordance with REV’s Guiding Principles\nEVALUATION:\nPerformance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with procedures established by the company.\nQUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITES\n5+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, or systems integration\nStrong programming skills in Python (required), Java, PHP, or other scripting languages\nExperience with cloud services (AWS preferred) and API development\nFamiliarity with automation/configuration management tools\nKnowledge of best practices in software deployment and operational reliability\nPreferred:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or closely related field\nExperience with Telecommunications operations\nGENERAL INFORMATION:\nThis job description does not restrict the company’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities of this job at any time.
