This internship is ideal for students with a background in finance, data analysis, and basic coding skills who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic finance department.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in data analysis projects using methods such as:Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)Statistical AnalysisData ValidationWorking with Big DataSupport business process automation initiatives using AI/ML tools, including low code/no code platforms.Organize User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data analysis and automation.Contribute to data governance efforts, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.Requirements/QualificationsCurrently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.Basic understanding of data analysis techniques and statistical methods.Familiarity with coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL) is a plus.Interest in business process automation, especially using AI/ML and low code/no code solutions.Understanding of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance concepts.Awareness of data governance principles.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Eagerness to learn new technologies and contribute to a collaborative team environment.This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.Travel TimeNo TravelPhysical AttributesHearing, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements80% sitting, 10% standing, 10% walking, 100% inside.Microchip Technology Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
