We offer growth\nopportunities for career track progression and ongoing professional\ndevelopment.\n\nTHE ROLE\nMotivate TK/K-6th grade students through social-emotional learning and\nenrichment activities such as STEAM, music, and Lego.\nLead lessons designed to increase excitement about learning.\nAssist with homework completion and snack distribution.\nEffectively manage student behavior (up to 20 students) with minimal\nassistance.\nEnsure student safety during outdoor activities.\nWork effectively with staff and embrace professional development.\nServe as a positive role model to the students to build kids’ self-esteem and\nemotional wellness.\n\nABOUT YOU\nHave been successful working with elementary and/or middle school kids.\nUnderstand and implement engaging lesson plans while maintaining\naccuracy and organization in activities.\nEffectively support kids’ behavioral management needs.\nConnect with students and foster positive learning experiences.\nCan improvise, adapt, and take initiative when needed by paying close\nattention to student needs.\nAre approachable, empathetic, patient, and able to build trust with kids.\nPresent yourself as a confident leader and a positive role model.\nAre comfortable utilizing online platforms for training and resources.\nCollaborate seamlessly with school administrators, parents, and fellow\ncoaches.\n\nAdditional Requirements\nMust be eligible to work in the United States, complete and pass a Live-Scan\nbackground check, and TB screening.\n1-2 years of working experience in education, coaching, child development, or\nother child-focused experiences strongly preferred.\nMust have reliable transportation.\nWilling to follow COVID-19 protocols outlined by the school.\nCandidates must be able to engage in the following activities with or without an\naccommodation:\nAbility to constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one place\nto another frequently.\nSitting, standing, for long periods.\nOccasional running and other strenuous physical activity.\nAbility to move safely on irregular and or uneven terrain on a regular basis.\n\nElevo is committed to creating a diverse work environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
