If you want to grow and do meaningful work, you'll feel at home here.\nJob Summary:\nThe EPLAN Developer is responsible for developing new content, tools, and technologies that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of control panel design and manufacturing. This role will spend most of the time advancing EPLAN initiatives and emerging technologies, while maintaining a small connection to day-to-day project work.\nKey Responsibilities:\nResearch and development of the EPLAN software and new technologies by reviewing specifications, add-ins, and integration capabilities with other Interstates systems and tools.\nInterpret data from the model to drive efficiency in design and planning by increasing accuracy of design and access to information.\nMaintain and update EPLAN standards and SOPs by reviewing best practices and collaborating with design teams.\nTrain the team in new standards and procedures by working with the EPLAN team and other project leaders.\nNetwork with industry leaders to propose new techniques and tools, prove use, or expand existing processes by attending events, vendor activities, webinars, and conducting research.\nTrack development priorities and accomplishments.\nWork with the standards coaches to update procedures and hold the team accountable to existing standards.\nStay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in EPLAN practices for electrical systems.\nCoordinate with leaders on developing the EPLAN skillset on the team.\nReview active projects to ensure standards and best practices are followed.\nCollaborate with IT on storage management, hardware, and software requirements.\nAssist the EPLAN team in developing examples of Interstates EPLAN capabilities.\nActively assist with projects as time is available, staying current on deliverable standards and best practices.\nExperience and Education: Associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) from a two-year community college or technical college, or completion of a 4-year degree program in a related field. 3–5 years of drafting experience. 3 or more years of experience using EPLAN.
