Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus availableOpportunity:Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVORJob Details:• Work 3x12 hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday through Sunday• Call requirement of 90-120 hours in a 6-week schedule• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience required• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required• Travel experience preferred (first time travelers accepted with Level 1 Trauma experience)• Required certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA• Must have experience with vascular and thoracic surgery cases• Specific skills required include: receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), Heart & Lung Transplant, Valve Replacement, and Aortic Dissection• Must work with adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients• Floating to affiliated hospitals is required• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays• Up to 5 days of non-holiday time off can be auto-approvedFacility:This major healthcare system operates a Level 1 Trauma Center with comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic surgical services.
