If so, please read on...\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\nManufacture electric motors by assembling parts and subassemblies.\nModify motors, gearboxes and subassemblies.\nFollow assembly and testing instructions. Position parts and assemble components by examining connections for correct fit.\nPrepare work to be performed by following assembly instructions, manufacturing order and parts list.\nGather parts, tools and materials required for assembly.\nTroubleshoot any assembly problems that arise.\nMaintain a safe and clean working environment.\nKeep equipment operational by performing preventive maintenance and following manufacturer's instructions.\nPaint motors.\nComply with all safety rules and company policies.\nPerform other duties assigned by the production manager within the physical constraints of the job.\nEssential Qualifications:\nHigh school education or equivalent.\nAble to read, write and speak English.\nGood mechanical attitude.\nAble to bend, squat, pull, push, climb, etc.\nAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.\nMust be willing to work overtime, on weekdays and at weekends to meet customer service requirements.\nValid Driver's License.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMechanical aptitude and assembly experience preferred.\nExcellent manual dexterity, comfortable with the use of hand tools such as: Hammer, drill, key wrench, torque wrench, screwdrivers, pliers...\nExperience with industrial tools such as: vertical drill, industrial press and hoist.\nExperience with rigging and lifting heavy loads, and operating overhead cranes.\nForklift experience.\nExperience with measuring tools such as: Caliper, thickness gauge and multimeter.\nMust be organized and possess time management skills and skills to adapt to priority changes.\nMust be able to work in a supportive team environment that is fast paced with a strong commitment to accountability.\nMust be able to follow and communicate both written and verbal information clearly in English with minimal supervision.\nWhy L & S Electric?\nWe don’t just offer a job—we offer a future.
