This role ensures that process equipment is maintained in top operating condition to support optimal performance, reliability, and productivity.\n\nThis position is accountable for maintaining plant process equipment, supporting continuous equipment improvements, and minimizing downtime within their area of responsibility. The Process Maintenance Supervisor also ensures the facility remains clean, organized, and well-presented while driving maintenance excellence across processing operations.\n\nCandidates must be willing and able to work nights and weekends as needed.\n\nMust have a valid Driver License and clean driving record.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nEnsures that the Plant Policies, Procedures and Union contracts are administered and followed in a fair and consistent manner.\n\nDirects the loss control program in their area of accountability, to reduce personal injury accidents, other losses, and to ensure a safe working environment.\n\nIs responsible to attend and participate in training activities appropriate to the position and to incorporate acquired skills and knowledge.\n\nIs responsible for identifying the training needs of subordinates, ensuring their participation in appropriate training activities, and reinforcing subordinate’s skill development with coaching, feedback and recognition.\n\nMaintains awareness of new developments, equipment and processes for potential applications to meet corporate and plant objectives.\n\nRecommends equipment, procedural and facility modifications to ensure the most efficient use of our resources.\n\nDirects the process areas maintenance functions to ensure the maximum operating efficiencies are maintained to meet minimal downtime, quality, volume, grade yield, safety and cost control performance.\n\nProvide technical services to ensure conformance with applicable codes and standards of safety, quality, sanitation and environmental protection. Must understand the codes and standards.\n\nTypical Education\n\nBachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university.\n\nRelevant Experience\n\n3+ years of related experience and/or training.\n\nOther Information\n\nPotato processing experience.\n\nKnowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, sheet metal work, millwright trade practices, and basic electrical systems.\n\nStrong mechanical aptitude.\n\nSolid mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.\n\nTravel Required: Less than 10%\n\nPay Grade: Global Grade 4\n\nLocation(s): GF Plant – Othello\n\nCountry: United States\n\nWage range or rate of pay: $95-$115K annually.
