We create an environment where thoughtful ideas move quickly, where people are trusted to lead, and where flexibility supports how great work gets done.\r\nIf you're excited to help shape what's next in AI-driven CRM—and build technology that drives real outcomes we'd love to meet you.\r\nThis role operates on a hybrid model, with a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration at our Solihull location, specifically, working in-office a minimum of 3 days per week.\r\nImpact You Will Make in the Role\r\nDevelop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures\r\nand definitions for data elements and tables in the company.\r\nIdentify and implement database requirements for new or existing applications by\r\nworking collaboratively with other teams.\r\nOptimize database performance and efficiency by evaluating and recommending new\r\ndatabase technologies.\r\nSupport users and developers by resolving data-related technical issues and\r\ntroubleshooting queries by guiding them with best practices.\r\nExecute regular database maintenance tasks, including database defragmentation,\r\nbackups, and database replication.\r\nDesign, install, configure and maintain database systems, including monitoring,\r\npatching, tuning and troubleshooting issues.\r\nProvide a seamless flow of information by keeping the database running smoothly.\r\nEnsure data security and integrity, including implementation of access controls,\r\nbackups and recovery plans.\r\nSupport ongoing database operations to support application and customer activities\r\nWhat You Will Bring\r\n5+ years of experience in database administration or in a similar role\r\nExperience in database backup, disaster recovery planning, performance optimization\r\nand data security\r\nExtensive knowledge with container orchestration technologies including Docker and\r\nKubernetes\r\nKnowledge of database management systems such as MySQL , Postgres or MSSQL required\r\nOutstanding communication and collaboration skills to work in a team environment\r\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide quick solutions to issues\r\nExperience with virtualization and cloud technologies\r\nStrong knowledge of version control systems and hands-on experience with Git\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience in an on-call rotation\r\nPrevious experience as a mentor or advisor\r\nWe understand that no candidate is perfectly qualified for any job.
