We are a small, close-knit club dedicated to developing swimmers both in and out of the water, with an emphasis on athletic growth, confidence, character, and teamwork.\nPosition Details: Position: Head Age Group Coach\n\nSchedule: Approximately 14-20 hours per week\n\nCompensation: Hourly pay based on experience\n\nLocation: Angleton, TX\n\nResponsibilities: Plan and implement high-quality daily practices tailored to the needs and abilities of age-group swimmers.\n\nDevelop seasonal training plans, goals, and progressions for assigned swimmers.\n\nAttend swim meets and support assigned athletes throughout the competition experience.\n\nCommunicate effectively and professionally with swimmers, parents, coaches, and club staff.\n\nFoster a positive, encouraging, and team-oriented environment.\n\nPromote athlete development both in and out of the pool.\n\nEnsure all USA Swimming, team, and facility safety standards and policies are followed at all times.\n\nQualifications: Have a genuine passion for coaching and developing young athletes into well-rounded individuals.\n\nPossess strong knowledge of competitive swimming, stroke technique, training methods, and athlete development.\n\nDemonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.\n\nHold a USA Swimming Coaches Certification or have the ability to obtain certification.
